With Seampay, you experience the ease of sending, receiving, and spending money. For them, we’ve developed a trustworthy, straightforward, and modern website that is based on digital African patterns.
Digital African patterns. Inspired in particular by akwete cloth: unique handwoven textile named after the town it's from, Akwete, in southeastern Nigeria. The patterns are beautiful and would make the bank stand out among the cookie-cutter designs.
Seampay unites different communities, and we've kept all characters small for that sense of scale. It’s not just one character for everyone to try to relate, but a group of people to be a part of.
The goal of Seampay’s website is to showcase the brand at its best and encourage users to download the app. The website fully inherits the African patterns developed for its brand identity.
To convey Seampay’s connectivity, we’ve animated lines between all characters. We’ve added little flags like on a running track so that everyone is connected, from start to finish.
The content is in English as Seampay unites multilingual communities and plans to scale its business. For the accents in the typography, we highlight keywords in the copywriting that keep users scrolling until the end.
Museo Sans is as straightforward as Seampay’s transfers are. This font is neat and friendly to ensure the trust factor.
Pink is a bedrock of Seampay’s logo, so we’ve kept everything consistent and selected catchy colors that fit branding pink well.
We’ve designed a universal icon pack that makes the text on the website easier to perceive.
For Seampay, we’ve also created Augmented Reality and Way of money web styles. The former implied taking the places that are held dear by the audience and showing them at a new angle. The latter was based on the logo, showing the way people are connected, bringing a sense of community.
